I found Miata and was able to speak to her. [Thank you for suggesting going through walls, Undyne!] I'm going to get the book and the key from Katerina--Miata let me know where she spends her time. The problem is that she's guarded by the demons, and Mammon and Lucifer are at full power because everyone assigned to them is dead. Mammon is often with Katerina, and Katerina uses her to teleport around, so she needs to be distracted.

The living have already agreed to help with this. Tomorrow night, Buddy will be blowing up the boat house. I would like those here who can to also help with distracting the demons. Right now it's far too dangerous to directly fight Mammon and Lucifer, so if there's anyone who's especially good at dodging, running, and keeping someone distracted, that would be very useful. Basically, I'm asking all of you to please cause as much trouble in town away from the chapel and the hotel as possible. Blow things up if you'd like. [CLOVER, NOW'S YOUR TIME.]

After the book is delivered to Miata and she's released from the chapel, she will be escorted to the hotel's basement where she will begin the revival process. Most of your items are already in the basement, but the living should be carrying everything else down there as well before all this happens. [Lithuania looks at Sans and Undyne.] For you two, and also for Papyrus, your dust will also be placed in the basement so Miata can use that to bring you all back to life. [HOPEFULLY THIS IS A BETTER OPTION FOR YOU GUYS THAN A MAGIC'ED HUMAN BODY.]

Undyne and Vegeta, you two will be the first to be brought back, as you two are the most able to fight the demons, and I'm not sure how many will be around at the time. Aside from that, the revival order is at Miata's discretion and I've given her no further suggestions. [She's trying not to bias the order beyond that.]

The signal to begin will be when Buddy detonates the boat house on Thursday night. That should be obvious enough.

You're all aware of the hostages. Miata is in the same room as the week eight hostages, so when we free her, we free them as well. If any of you would like to help keep track of the hostages, feel free.

However, there's a second set of hostages. Faize and Hinata have had their entire crew and entire class, respectively, kidnapped. They're in a second room that's attached to the one Miata and the other hostages are in. The key should unlock their room as well, and Hinata will be there to help, but if anything happens, make sure that door is unlocked as well and they're freed.

Miata needs to be protected. Poland and Faize should be doing that, but any of you who would like to help also have that as an option. She will be reviving all of us, so it goes without saying that if she dies or is incapacitated, we're out of luck. I know what's being said about her, but she's been trying her best, and she wasn't prepared for all of this. She's managed to learn magic to revive the dead in eleven weeks from essentially no magical skill at all, and there was no way she could have hoped to stand up to Katerina without all of this. We need to at least trust her to help us in bringing us back and ending all of this.

[She beams when Undyne being revived first gets mentioned, too; so proud of her perfect glittersis!!! For the first time, all of this has really seemed plausible; that they can come back, that things could be okay. For the first time she's found some optimism for all of this.

Sounds good! [AS LONG AS SHE GETS TO KICK LUCIFER's ASS SHE'S HAPPY TBH] If we're looking to revive people based on how capable they are of kicking some demon ass, Morrigan and Break are good choices too. We'll probably need a long-range magic caster like Morrigan and Break managed to cut off Lucifer's arm while blind and dying, he's got skill with the sword for close-range support.

[She reaches up to Rahab, petting his nose affectionately.] You wanna join me, Rahab? We could work together on this! [LET HER RIDE THE SEA MONSTER LET HER DO IT]

It was no trouble. [She's good at keeping lots of stuff in her room, or something.]

If you do, you're not to harm anyone who isn't a demon. [Behave!]

I was sure we could rely on you. [For a lot of trouble...] Just make sure to wait for Buddy to set up before you start taking too many grenades.

That's not a bad plan at all. [Really anyone who can fight these demons would be good...] I can suggest it to Miata--or you could when you're revived, as well, if you'd like.

No one deserved this sort of fate... I'll do what I can.

What about the jerks who are basically demons? [ everyone who was mean to her about killing some people!! ]

No. No more killing people. [She means it.]

Ugh. [ Ugh!!!! ] Fine, whatever. I'll do my best. [ In not murdering people. ]

When we're revived, will we be revived with our full powers? Or should we expect to still have to deal with these limitations?

[Since Vegeta's going to be on the front lines, as it were.]

[Undyne's expression immediately slides towards irritated.] Uh...why don't you do it? [SORRY BUT SHE WOULD RATHER NEVER SPEAK TO MIATA AGAIN unless she's beating her up]

Did Miata tell you how to unlock our powers, by the way? Not that I can't take care of the demons with a handicap, but my green magic could help anyone having trouble dealing with their teleportation.

Leviathan can unlock abilities. The other demons can lock them again, but if the demons are attacked in groups it should be possible to overwhelm them. Being fast is important here.

[Yeah she's just. Squinting at him.]

...seriously? [At both Sans claiming he can dodge well and also at Sans volunteering for anything ever, let alone something as strenuous as fighting demons.] You sure about this? We don't know if Miata can revive someone after they've died again.

Fast I can do. [Vegeta smirks and looks over at Leviathan.] And with my powers unlocked, I can erase those fools in seconds if I need to.

[It's annoying when the arrogant asshole probably isn't wrong.]

Leviathan can unlock powers. The other demons can lock them, in turn, but if you fight in groups overwhelming them is possible. And I'll speak to Miata about it.

[Not saying anything when he hears this, but once again Vegeta is quietly thankful that he died before the hostages were taken. The last thing he needs is Trunks or Bulma in danger right now.]

What kind of dodging are we talking about here? Some of you guys have met them, so like are they all teleporting cheaters like Satan or...?

[Like if back home you had asked him "are you good at running" he would have said sure but then again he couldn't even outrun Kaguya to save his own life so Takao isn't exactly feeling the front line usefulness potential here.]

I'm thinking we should probably be in a lot of different groups if there are seven demons, so nobody is stuck alone with one or anything. [Look he tentatively trusts Leviathan HIS OWN SIN MOM??? THE SALT QUEEN WHOSE TEAM APPARENTLY DIDN'T SUPPORT HER??? but hey there are gonna be at least seven groups if you throw in the hostages and stuff on top of that] Like Papyrus could probably help Alisha really well with protecting the hostages? [He used his magic defensively to great effect when Satan showed up!]

Being in groups is the best option, yes. We'll have one demon on our side, at least. [Lithuania gestures to Leviathan.] I know Lucifer can teleport, and Katerina apparently uses Mammon to teleport around places, so I believe we should assume teleporting is a skill they all have. [Plan for the worst possibility.]

I think Papyrus would do well protecting the hostages, though I'll defer to Undyne and Sans on that front.

yeah, papyrus could definitely do it. he'd be glad to protect miata, too.

[which is probably important considering so many ghosts are Salty. papyrus isn't papyrus is never salty.]

[Takao may have never previously spoken to Papyrus or even Sans, and he doesn't know that Papyrus practically didn't vote for Kaguya, but that isn't necessary to deduce that Papyrus is pure. Takao does have a little sister.]

Their team should have a really good defense, right? A lot of the people with them can't afford to get hit, especially if Hinata's friends are actual humans.

[He puts his hand on the back of his head, not sheepish yet but less than enthusiastic.] Honestly, I can probably wait a while to get revived since I can't exactly take a hit either...

[sans's grin seems to turn a bit commiserating at that "can't take a hit" bit. ha ha. haaa. he knows that feel, bro.]

heh. same here. doesn't mean you can't help out anyway, kid. i don't think the hostages have anything to worry about. papyrus'd never let anyone be hurt if he was on duty. he's cool like that.

Yeah, of course! [And she actually totally sincerely means it. Buddy's cool, she respects Buddy, she's happy to give Buddy the first shot.]

Hey, so! I drew up some teams of three for each of the areas, like with an ace and a backup and a lookout. (That's sorta the order you could bring them back, since the lookout would definitely not have to be alive to help, and the team would have someone else handing out actual punches.) You can check them out over here whenever you want.

[ALRIGHT... TAKAO IS HERE TRYING TO HELP... he's made rough sketches on the rock by dipping his foot into the water and dragging sneaker marks. Lucifer has little devil horns, Mammon is just a greed symbol because he's never seen her face.]

So we already have a lot of volunteers for "trouble": [He says trouble in English. This is now officially an action movie.] Undyne, who's a heavy hitter, Charlotte (Sadie) seems pretty into it, and Clover-chan will be great at getting into position.

The hostages have a team forming pretty quickly. Papyrus has defensive magic, Alisha has already volunteered, and I think we could probably also ask Komeiji-san (Satori) to be the lookout because this is the only part she seems really likely to get excited about.

Then there's the squad facing Mammon. I was thinking the ace on this one could be Sans - it seems like this one will have the most maneuvering? The backup would be Lithuania, because she's pretty hardcore, and Youko-san is the lookout with her great senses.

Lucifer is the biggest threat so I don't know about this one but Vegeta-san can definitely handle her. Cheshire can do decent distractions, dead or alive. And then the lookout might be... (Takao) me?

[Takao has asked Leviathan about it and there's no particular reason to avoid your own sin so he won't suggest swapping the teams]

I'm not sure if Miata-san needs her own team since she does have a couple living people looking after her, but what about Astrid as the front line fighter, Urashima on backup, and Lithuania the lookout? Most of those people seem to get along okay with Miata-san.

I said Lithuania twice because if there's a fifth team at that point we should really consider incorporating some of the others... I think the main obvious thing is swap Lithuania and Rhys as the people contracted with Mammon, so you get Sans, Rhys, and Youko-san. Otherwise though I left out a lotta the people that aren't here or who I don't know so much about - obviously Mr. Break, Mr. Nightray (Gilbert), Ms. Morrigan, and Rhys, because I think they'd do okay as their own team, against any other demons, especially if Satan shows up or something.

[Takao steps back with arms outstretched.] Anyway, I'm not in charge or anything, so what do you guys think? [Suggestions, comments, criticisms? Flames will be used to roast marshmallows.]

I agree with Kazunari-ku- actually, I suppose... ah, Takao-kun's plan and team formations. [ Did any of them even know him by that name? It was better to be clear. ] Specifically, the part about me being a lookout. My powers are still quite sealed so that's what I'd be best for, if we're going to need people to keep an eye on everything for the rest.
